I like PCHEC because the teachers care about us, individually. I'm feeling more comfortable with the idea of going to college because PCHEC is preparing me for the work I have to do on my own. I've gotten to know a good group of people. You don't have to worry about negative influences. Going once a week is enough to learn what I need for the week and still feel independent. |

I think PCHEC makes you work harder because you have to hand in your assignments to teachers on specific dates. Being in a classroom atmosphere gives you just enough of school life but not too much where it drains you. |

During my eight years at PCHEC I have learned countless things from my tutors. My tutors are the best and I can't imagine being taught by anyone else. Through the years I have become close to many of the other students and I'm proud to call them my best friends. I look forward every week to spending time with other students, talking with my teachers, and gaining more knowledge about the wonderful world that our God has created. |

PCHEC is a wonderful experience for my two boys. They have really excelled in literature. The team of teachers and parents are a pleasure to work with and are very professional and caring in their expertise. The classes offered have helped lighten the burden of teaching some of the more challenging subjects. Such as: Algebra and Literature. During the classes there is a study time available for the children to do their assignments. The classes are small and personable and my boys have enjoyed the socialization in the class setting. My children have been attending Pocono Christian Home Education Center for ten years. PCHEC has brought so much to our family and home education experience. Having skilled tutors to assist both myself and my children with their school work has given each of us the confidence and ability to succeed in our homeschooling. Each week the students look forward to their time of instruction at the center, while also visiting with friends. I have met many wonderful families through PCHEC and I'm always appreciative of the suppport and understanding I receive from other homeschooling parents. |

PCHEC has been a true blessing for my daughter Samantha. It has given her an opportunity to be challenged academically. The peer interaction has motivated her to go beyond what she would normally do at home. Strong bonds and friendships have been developed throughout her time there.
